I was desperately thinking how this could tie in with our new brief about collections. Aquariums sure collect fish, right?
Well, I was pleasantly surprised on entry to the aquarium to find the work of Martin Waters.
This particular set of work was called 'Collections' and is extremely fitting to what's going on right now in Viscom World.
Unfortunately I only had my yashica with me (bad choice) but you can see his wonderful use of colour and 'found objects' (my mum recons that he bought a lot of it from ebay then dropped it in acid. shhhhhh) I've checked his website, and he is allll about found objects and environmental art blah blah blah but his collections section is really worth a look!
