I'M IN UR RECYCLING BIN, STEALING USED PAPER!

Planned to get down to the print room today to do some silk screen printing & book binding in preparation for this weekend's '12th International Book Fair' at Leeds University, where Vis Comm has a table. I spent much of yesterday and last night getting a cover for my hand bound jotters, experimenting with typography (so I can use it with my exploration of typography for the comm tech brief).

Not quite this, but I thought my work area resembled a real life photoshop layout (kind of) - but much easier to navigate!

I was taking inspiration from both 'Hand Job' by Mike Perry & 'Letters on America' by Edward Fella for more original ideas.

I got my final compositions together, scanned them in and stuck them on my USB stick, ready for printing;

The print room was dead so today was very nice & productive.

Screen printed covers - front & back...

Woah! Some fold out pages!..

Some maths paper! - (best for drawing robots on!)

and NO WAY - Lined paper!!?

The other pages are paper taken from various waste paper boxes around college, folded in half so only plain paper is seen, then sewn down the open end - a la...

DING DONG!!

Come to the book fair and I gis you good price!!
