I was surprised to find the class wasn't run by a college tutor, but by photographer Peter Mitchell.

Although I am quite familiar with the process of black & white photography and developing, there was a lot I had forgot, and a lot I hadn't been taught. After last week I feel confident using the college's facilities and feel I have much more control over my prints.

Our first 2 days were about how to shoot a film, in both a studio, and outside, then developing the film...

We were then left to our own vices with our new skills and were free to start working on a theme for our projects.
Mine is probably going to called 'Hand Type of Hyde Park'

For the next 3 weeks, I need to shoot more film to get a project together, with 6 final prints, along with a work journal.
