Because of the text on the back of the book being so delicate, the more I re-used the screen and washed it, tiny bits of the screen coating broke off, By the time I was ready for the final prints, it was in quite a bad state. I taped up the bits I could, but it still looks kind of shitty. Not leaving the printing to the day before the deadline could have helped solve this;
The best method for binding the book was with a journal stitch, after DRILLING three holes down the spine. Yikes!! This the effect it makes on the centre spread;
And the bobble it leaves on the exterior. To cut it off or not to cut it off? (please ignore my freak bendy thumb)
I'm chuffed with the prints;
This is my favourite page;
The pages don't align accurately (something I discovered once I got my prints home and began folding them).
Can't wait for tomorrow's exhibition, me!
