cuisine capital for sure. I`ve tried the 2 main dishes, Okonomiyaki which is a lettuce pizza with meat and sauce and the Tacoyaki which is a piece of octopus wrapped in some sort of soft batter. The other morning i woke and puked. I don`t know whether it was from the octopus, or the all you can drink for 15 pounds nightclub we went to. it was so horrible in there i didn`t even get my 15 pounds worth. instead we left at around 3am and went to a kareoke booth til 5:30 when the trains started working again. By this time I was an absolute pro due to the previous nights debut in kishiwada (awesomest place name so far). At first I was feeling a little shy, but as you can guess, there is also an all you can drink option at `big echo`. I think the ratio of me singing and everyone else singing was 3:1 by the end. There are so many amazing songs. I even got to sing my favourite blues explosion song. YEHUH!
We went to a sumo tournament on sunday. it felt really surreal. the place was huge and everyone was so into it.
last night we went to a local izakaya (kind of pub/restaurant) to meet a friend of Jez`s named Mr.Ueno. He had some good chat as his english was great. he told me to find his band on youtube and holy crap I just did...

Toilet update: I still haven`t dared to push any buttons. but i`ve found that alot of small establishments have just a trough in the floor. I don`t really get this. it makes your legs ache and theres always some splash back going to happen.
tomorrow we fly to Tokyo! cannot wait! right now I`m about to go to the zoo. alone. is that bad? do people go to zoos alone??
